Japan’s renowned manga Naruto will join forces with American comic franchise Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for a star-studded four-issue comic crossover, with the first issue being released on Nov. 13.

The collaboration was made possible through American comic publisher IDW Publishing and Viz Media. The series will be written by Caleb Goellner, who worked on Sonic the Hedgehog, and illustrated by Hendry Prasetya, who is known for his work for Marvel and DC comics.

Jorge Jiménez, the comic artist who illustrated the first issue of the comic, expressed his excitement on X, saying, “Naruto is everything to me as a manga/anime fan. And like any child with a childhood in the 90s, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are part of my life.”

The comic will follow Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi as they start paying attention to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ April O’Neil following her secret meeting with Tsunade, the leader of the Hidden Leaf Village in Naruto.
