Pokémon TCG has always had some astronomical prices depending on the rarity of some cards.

One such card, the very rare Blastoise #009/165R Commissioned Presentation Galaxy Star Hologram is currently listed on Heritage Auctions for approximately  ¥48 million Japanese yen ($468,000 USD).

The card is one of two in existence was used for presentation purposes with Nintendo for approval for printing in English. The Wizards of the Coast card was commissioned by boardgame manufacturer Cartamundi in 1998 and has details that never made it on to the final product.
