Japanese ramen restaurant Ichiran is inviting customers into the kitchen with game producer Tricol’s new virtual reality game Counter Fight Ichiran.

The game allows users to refine their cooking skills, by perfecting the ramen making method within a specified time and can purchase the fame from the Oculus online store for ¥1,480 ($14.26).

Throughout, players will have to satisfy customers, and mastering plating techniques to achieve bonus point.

The virtual reality game also offers a well—rounded experience of being and working in the restaurant.

“Many familiar items such as Kaedama plate and Order sheets that can only be seen at shops, Original spicy red sauce, and Arita porcelain original donburi bowls will appear,” states Tricol’s official website.

They also state that “the background music and sound effects of the Kaedama that flow in the store are faithfully reproduced, so you can enjoy the atmosphere of Ichiran’s store anytime, anywhere”

Users should ensure they have a compatible VR set before purchasing.

The restaurant, Ichiran, began in Hakata and is recognized for their quality ramen and commitment to using the finest ingredients.

Ichiran is also famed for their original Spicy Red Sauce, made using 30 different spices and the process of slow aging.

The restaurant is also popular for their Ramen Focus Booth- a new dining experience that intends to allow customers to sit in silence, free from distraction to enable full focus on the flavours and taste of the ramen.
