The Art Aquarium Museum in Nihonbashi, Japan is celebrating the spring season with a special fish exhibition tinged in a pink glow representative of the season’s cherry blossoms.

The exhibition is a light show featuring fish in various tanks of different shapes, as well as elements symbolic of the Sakura season that will be on show from March 6 to May 9.

“In this tough time, we are holding the 2021 Spring Exhibition, hoping to soothe the souls of people with unordinary experience” featuring beautifully dancing goldfish among sound, and incense,” the Art Aquarium’s website states.

Viewers can stop and observe a sakura daruma ryukin fish swimming in a cherry blossom shaped tank.

The exhibitions also feature other spring fish including the sakura nishiki, sakura ryukin, and sakura higashinishiki.

Other sections of the exhibitions, including the Flower Aquarium, adorned with cherry blossoms.

After exploring the exhibitions, viewers can opt to pre-book a spot at the Suigian Lounge, for drinks, or a flavourful meal for 2,700 yen ($24.63).
