TOKYO: Director Yukihiko Tsutsumi and Leader of the music group Arashi Jun Matsumoto presented the film “Arashi Anniversary tour 5×20 FIlm: Record Memories” in Tokyo on Monday.

The film documents a concert at the Tokyo Dome of J- Pop superstars Arashi.

Arashi was filmed during a concert in 2019, in which 125 cameras were used to create a unique record. The concert marked the culmination of the 50-conert tour across Japan that brought in more than 2 million spectators.

During their concert at the Tokyo Dome, the group’s dancers appeared in the middle of the audience on a raised platform amid laser lights in front of a largely female audience who waved multicolored torches.

Arashi has been seen by 82 million spectators and has sold over 8 million albums worldwide since its inception in Honololu in 1999. It is produced by production company Johnny and Associates.

Due to the Corona pandemic, the documentary film’s release was delayed and will be released in Japanese Dolby Cinema theaters from November 3 and in all theaters from November 26.
