DUBAI: Nezar Al Sabbagh, a Omani animator, worked on major Japanese anime projects such as: One Piece, Boruto & Takt Op. Destiny.
In an exclusive interview with Arab News Japan, Al Sabbagh shared his inspiration for anime & manga, saying: “I love Murata sensei art for one punch man manga which is an inspiration for me. Also, my favorite anime at the moment is jujutsu Kaisen, it has very amazing story and animation as well.”
The animator started working on animation in 2021 and his first project was One Piece.
“I had difficulties while working and trying to figure out a lot of things same thing with Heion Sedai no Idaten-tachi. I got lots of experience and learned a lot from it,” he added.
About the challenges that he faced during his projects, Al Sabbagh said: “Mostly trying to finish my work before the deadline and also with keeping the drawing accuracy of the character itself is difficult at that time, but I learned from them.”
About his recommendations for those who wants to be an animation artist or working in Japan for animation projects, he said: “Draw every day and practice and keep struggling, keep it up it’s no easy way.”
