Japan has long been named as the land of creation, drawing visitors all around the world over the love of animation and manga.

Anime has shaped the pop culture in Japan for years in making, and Jujutsu Kaisen attraction coming to Universal Studios Japan with a new storyline, is a clear proof that.

The theme park has recently announced that it is developing a new theater show called “Jujutsu Kaisen the Real 4D.”The attraction includes 3D visuals and effects such as spraying water and shaking seats.

Instead of tracing back to its original storyline, the ride will produce an original plot. The park website introduces the ride with an enticing opening.

In a short statement, the website said: “It is said that a branch school of the Magic Technical College will be opened in this land of Osaka– you were invited to the groundbreaking ceremony of the school building as a person who was scouted for this new school. According to Kuroishi, a man who claims to be the president of the Osaka branch school, he plans to establish a new branch school to train sorcerers in order to save people from the increasing number of victims of curses in recent years”

Furthermore, the website warns riders that as suspected, not everything is a smooth sailing at the ceremony. It states, There is something suspicious about this ceremony venue…Kojo, Fushiguro, and Kugizaki were secretly infiltrated at the groundbreaking ceremony.” The obstacles that will hinder the function will require the supernaturally powered assistance of Jujutsu Kaisen protagonist Yuji and his friends to resolve.

Translated as Sorcery Fight, “Jujutsu Kaisen” is an anime, based on a manga comic by Gege Akutami. It is  being serialized in Shueisha’s “Weekly Shonen Jump” (Shonen is a certain genre of anime). The story revolves around Yuji Itadori, a teenage boy that becomes a part of the supernatural world after coming in contact with a cursed spirit.

The themed attraction will kick off on September 16, 2022, with the 4D show scheduled to run until July 2, 2023.
