DUBAI: Saudi Arabia is calling on all anime lovers to prepare themselves for the Saudi Anime Expo happening from Oct. 27-29.
Saudi General Entertainment Authority Chairman Turki Alalshikh tweeted on Thursday saying: “Anime lovers…Ready? The Saudi Anime Exhibition is back for you … with offers and experiences beyond imagination.”
The Saudi Anime Expo is part of the 2022 Riyadh Season, which is running from October until March 2023.
Japanese Ambassador to Saudi Arabia IWAI Fumio also expressed his excitement for the upcoming anime event.

He replied to Alalshikh on Twitter, saying: “I extend to you my sincere thanks, appreciation and gratitude for holding the Saudi Anime Exhibition within the Riyadh Season. I look forward to attending the exhibition.”
The last Saudi Anime Exhibition took place in 2019 and saw a number of Japanese celebrities, including Manga legend Yoichi Takahashi, Japanese DJ and hip-hop artist Taku Takahashi and Rock group Linked Horizon.
