DUBAI: Dubai Baja, the iconic motorsport event previously known as Dubai Internationally Rally, will return with its seventh edition from Nov. 10 to 12 at Festival City, under the patronage of Dubai’s Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed.

Organized by the Emirates Motorsports Organization (EMSO) with support from the Dubai Government, Festival City, Toyota Al Futtaim, and ENOC, this year’s edition is expected to be the biggest and most exciting one thus far.

The EMSO has organized more than 150 motorsport events across the United Arab Emirates (UAE) annually.

This year’s Dubai Baja will be the final event of the season after the cancellation of Jordan Baja due to the current unstable geopolitical situation. It will feature duels from the 2023 FIA World Cup for Cross-Country Bajas and the 2022 FIM Bajas World Cup.

“We are thankful for the unwavering support from Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid. Today, the rally stands tall as a testament to Dubai’s commitment to the world of sport. His Highness’s patronage ensures a top-tier event that brings world-class rallying to Dubai and showcases the best of Dubai to the Bajas World Series,” said Khalid Ben Sulayem, EMSO President.

“We’ve been working closely with the government authorities, and both the FIA and the FIM, to not only stage an epic show but also ensure the highest organizational and safety standards for everyone involved,” he added.
