
DUBAI: Kuwait held a groundbreaking ceremony on Monday for the country’s pavilion at the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai.
Kuwait’s Ambassador to Japan Sami Al-Zamanan attended the ceremony along with Chairman of the Kuwait Committee for Osaka Expo 2025 Salem Alwatyan and members of the Kuwaiti Pavilion team.
Members of Japanese and international media were present as well.

Last month, Saudi Arabia became one of the first nations to begin constructing its pavilion for the Japan Expo.
Opening in April 2025, Expo 2025 Osaka will convene over 160 countries and multilateral organizations under the theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives.” The three sub-themes are “Saving Lives,” “Empowering Lives” and “Connecting Lives.” Over 28 million people are expected to visit Osaka during the event.
