DUBAI: Origami, one of Dubai’s many Japanese dining destinations, has relaunched to introduce its new contemporary interiors and a wide array of new menu items.
The restaurant, celebrated for its unique fusion of delicately prepared Japanese cuisine and design artistry, has a modern and minimalistic new interior design by the acclaimed VSHD Interior Design, an award-winning Dubai-based firm renowned for its creative approach.
In addition to the redesign, Origami has introduced news dishes to its menu, elevating its reputation as a Dubai dining hotspot.
From signature small plates to creative sashimi offerings and traditional nigiri, Origami has sourced the finest and freshest Japanese ingredients for its updated menu.
Must-try dishes include the Japanese Potato Salad, a blend of Japanese mayo, crunchy cucumber and smoked shichimi beef bacon topped with fresh black truffle, and Sashimi Tartare with diced fresh salmon, tuna, and hamachi mixed with shallot, cucumber and avocado topped with osetra caviar.
There’s also some new Hoso Maki to experience, including miso-marinated Black Cod with cream cheese and torch crab mayonnaise topped with chili teriyaki and nuts, fresh Bluefin Tuna with spring onion and warm wasabi, topped with osetra caviar and sweet soya sauce, and citrus-marinated fresh Yellowtail Roll with avocado and slightly spicy jalapeno.
Interior design masters VSHD have brought a fresh, minimalistic look to Origami, combining sleek lines, soft lighting and natural wooden materials.
