We were thrilled that the agency brought in Japanese model and entrepreneur Amalia Kaori for the show. Additionally, the event featured a raffle draw, offering attendees the chance to win one of the most beautiful silk kimonos, made of pink mulberry silk and adorned with hand-painted Japanese cranes (Tsuru),” she added.

Regarding upcoming events and activities, Liana said: “Following the success of this event, we are planning additional projects that may include more exhibitions or fashion shows at international venues. Collaborations with Japanese artisans or designers are also on the horizon, potentially leading to the launch of a collection that merges traditional kimono aesthetics with contemporary fashion. Furthermore, workshops or seminars on kimono history and craftsmanship may help engage a wider audience. We welcome any inquiries about future collaborations.”
“Following the success of the event, we plan to expand our collection and host more pop-up events in UAE. We’re also exploring collaborations with other fashion brands or Japanese restaurants to promote cultural exchange through fashion,” said Mimi.
