TakaHisa is once again hosting an Omakase experience in Dubai with three world renowned chefs, including Michelin-starred Shinsuke Nakatani of Paris, the renowned wagyu and sushi masters at TakaHisa Takashi Namekata and Hisao Ueda.

The three brought together the finesse of French gastronomy with the precision and depth of Japanese culinary traditions.

Chef Shinsuke Nakatani, the creative force behind the Michelin-starred Nakatani restaurant in Paris, is celebrated for offering a luminous personal vision of French cuisine, with a particular focus on seasonal French produce.

Nakatani worked next to Hélène Darroze in Paris for almost a decade. He opened Nakatani restaurant in 2014 and he was awarded first Michelin star in less than two years.

His refined approach and dedication to the nation’s finest ingredients form the core of his culinary philosophy.

While the Japanese and French share a love for gustatory subtlety, Nakatani’s collaboration with Namekata and Ueda highlights a key difference: the French quiet taste tones are amplified by the umami-rich moments central to Japanese cuisine.

Together, these three chefs curated a unique Omakase menu where Nakatani’s French techniques meet the purity and depth of Japanese flavors, creating a harmonious interplay of textures and tastes.

The menu highlights a fusion of the finest seasonal French ingredients, reinterpreted with Japanese precision. Thoughtfully constructed courses comprising of premium ingredients such as umami-rich wagyu and especially sourced seafood, and will showcase the chefs’ collective expertise, presenting a harmonious blend of techniques and flavors.

This exclusive Omakase is not merely a meeting of two cuisines but a convergence of three of the most distinguished chefs working today to curate an unparalleled dining experience for discerning gourmands.

The event is taking place from Oct. 29-31 at the TakaHisa, Banyan Tree Dubai, Bluewaters Island.
