This is not the first time the two have collaborated together. In 2919, Murakami, founder and president of Kaikai Kiki Co., directed Eilish’s music video, “You should See Me in a Crown.”

The video depicts a Eilish in Murakami’s anime-style wearing a T-shirt that is expected to lead the upcoming limited-edition range.

A closer look at the T-shirt reveals text that reads  “Billie Eilish” accented by a colorful Kaikai Kiki flower pattern, which are applied to statement-making oversized tops.

Additionally, the designs include a collage of Eilish’s photos, a sketch from her music video and a UT-original Billie Eilish logo.

“Two of the most influential global creators come together as a new expression of art for all,” says John C. Jay, President of Global Creative for Uniqlo.

The Billie Eilish by Takashi Murakami UT collection will become available at selected Uniqlo stores both, globally and on the Uniqlo website beginning May 25.

The quantities of sales available may be limited due to difficulty accessing the online store as a result online traffic, however, the retailer suggests waiting and attempting to re-access the website again.
