Bandai SPIRITS and Nissin recreate a plastic Cup Noodle model

Japanese Toy Maker Bandai SPIRITS teamed up with the Japanese Food Company Nissin to produce a Plastic Cup Noodle Model.

The iconic instant noodle cup is the model within Bandai’s “Best Hit Chronicle” series, which is a collection celebrating revolutionary products through re-creating them in plastic disassembled models.

The styrofoam packaging of Cup Noodles, the noodles, and flavoring accouterments were created using a 3D scan of an on the shelf offering in order to accurately mimic the form and appearance of both, the external and internal components.

The model, which is priced at ¥2,420 JPY (approximately $22 USD), is set to be release on September 18.
