DUBAI: Japan and the United Arab Emirates are celebrating their 50th anniversary of establishing their diplomatic relationship by inviting the general public to submit designs for a logo that will be used to promote events of the anniversary.
Submissions for the logo are welcome from anyone regardless of nationality, age or place of residence. The deadline for the submission is May 17.
Both the governments of Japan and the UAE will evaluate the designs of the candidate logos and winners will be announced through their respective websites and social media accounts including those of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Embassy of Japan in UAE, and the Government of UAE.

Those interested in sending their designs must be sure to mention their name, affiliation and a brief explanation of the logo design as attachment in the email. The logo should also fit on an A4 or letter-sized page when printed.
The submitted logos must be unpublished anywhere and must not infringe any copyrights or trademarks of any third parties.
To enter the competition, send an email with the design to Second Middle Eastern Division, Middle Eastern and African Affairs Bureau, Ministry of Foreign Affairs. ([email protected])
