DUBAI: A new authentic Japanese restaurant is gracing Dubai’s booming Japan cuisine scene. Mogi-Ya hosted its soft opening on Feb. 5, inviting guests to dine at a pre-open dinner.
The dinner gave a sneak peak of the restaurant’s food and beverage offerings to guests. Mogi-Ya’s Manager Mogi Takahiro thanked diners for joining the exclusive dinner.
He told guests he hoped to make Mogi-Ya “big” and as popular as it is back in Japan. The food menu included special dishes like salted leak sauce, deep fried gizzard, wagyu skewers, shrimp tempura and mochi ice cream to top it all off.
Takahiro is also Kimura-Ya’s Director and General Manager. Japanese restaurant Kimura-Ya launched in 2020 in the UAE and had opened its fourth branch in Dubai in 2022.
Mogi-Ya is part of the same group as Japanese eateries Kimura-Ya and Fuji-Ya. The casual restaurant is now open at Hampton by Hilton Dubai, Al Seef.
