Fashion giant Louis Vuitton will open its first café and restaurant in Osaka, Japan, next month, a move initiated by its holding company LVMH as it dives deeper into the hospitality industry.

The restaurant, called ‘Le Café V’ will have a menu devised by celebrated Japanese chef Yosuke Suga and will be located on the top floor of LV’s new four-level boutique in Osaka.

The space will feature a spacious terrace as well as a bar. Positioned next to the bar will be a second dining space, named Sugalabo V, which will exclusively serve dinner, mirroring chef Suga’s Tokyo branch of Sugalabo.

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Louis Vuitton, Michael Burke, confirmed the developments and hinted that LV will be opening other restaurants, and hotels, in the future, as reported by WWD.

The Osaka Maison, designed by architect Jun Aoki, is scheduled to open on February 1, while the restaurants are to open on February 15, according to WWD.
