WASHINGTON: The foreign ministers of Japan, the United States and South Korea will meet virtually Monday evening, the US State Department said Sunday.
The meeting will bring together Japanese Foreign Minister HAYASHI Yoshimasa, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and South Korean Foreign Minister Park Jin.
They will lay the groundwork for a summit of the three nations’ leaders slated to be held at the Camp David presidential retreat near Washington on Friday.
The ministers are expected to discuss North Korea’s nuclear and missile development, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and China’s economic coercion.
