SEOUL: South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida agreed on Sunday to work on the resumption of a three-way summit with China, Yonhap news agency reported.
The two leaders met on the sidelines of the G20 summit in New Delhi, Yonhap said.
The annual meetings of the leaders of the three Asian neighbours have not been held since 2019 as diplomatic tensions rose among the countries over Japan’s colonisation of the Korean peninsula and atrocities committed during World War Two.
