Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman holds telephone call with Japan’s prime minister

TOKYO: Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Fumio had a telephone call on Thursday, following up on meetings they had held in Saudi Arabia in July and on the sidelines of the G20 New Delhi Summit in September.

The crown prince said that he was pleased to have close communication with Kishida as he reflected on their prior meetings, Japan’s Ministry of Foreign affairs said.

He added that he would like to continue to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in a variety of areas.

Prime Minister Kishida stated that he is delighted to speak with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman over the phone, following their meetings during his visit to Saudi Arabia in July and on the sidelines of the G20 New Delhi Summit in September.

The leaders agreed to continue close collaboration, including through high-level communication.
