This was not the first time the boat hoisted such a sign. In November, just one month after Israel’s war on Gaza began, the boat hung up a similar poster as it docked in Egypt’s Port Said.
The Pacific World ship, which has 15 decks, welcomed dozens of guests onboard from Cape Town for a forum called ‘Blue Blue Innovation Day.’
The forum featured a strategic dialogue on Africa-Europe Ocean Economy in collaboration with Africa-Europe Ocean Economy and OceanHub Africa.
On Jan. 11, South Africa took Israel to the World Court accusing the country of genocide.
South Africa demanded that Israel immediately suspended its military operation in Gaza, which has yet to happen.
