TOKYO: While Tokyo has some of the best dining experiences in the world, Muslims seeking Iftar “soul food” might need a lengthy search to find something authentic, but Zenobia in the ritzy Hiroo district of Tokyo provides the Muslim population in Japan with a place to go and break their fast.

Zenobia serves a variety of Arabic dishes but specializes in “authentic Syrian food” and claims it has “revolutionized the way people eat and enjoy food.”

The menu includes dishes served on Arabic tableware, such as Freekeh, Kobba with yoghurt sauce, Fattouch salad, Tabouli salad, Yalenj, Mutabal, and Hommus, all at a reasonable price for central Tokyo.

After eating, customers can refresh themselves with drinks such as Arabian coffee, yogurt juice, tamarind juice, and a drink made from figs.

The Hiroo district is famous for upmarket apartments and houses, as well as several diplomatic missions.
