A drive-in theatre event took place in the parking lot of the Tokyo Tower on June 20. People stayed in their parked cars and enjoyed a live performance right before a film was shown on an outdoor screen projector.

The event also featured a DJ show and attendees made sure to light up their phones and cars’ hazard lights along with the music.

According to JIJI Press, a couple from Saitama Prefecture felt a “peace of mind” that they were able to visit Tokyo after a ban on movement across prefectural borders was lifted.
