MEXT provides opportunity for Saudi students hoping to study in Japan

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) of Japan will be offering scholarships 2021 to research students hoping to study in Japan.

Saudi Arabian students can apply for this study opportunity through the Embassy of Japan in Riyadh and must submit their applications by the September 15 deadline.

Interested applicants should read the guidelines to understand what documents are required and then email them to the Embassy of Japan at: info@rd.mofa.go.jp

Students who do not hold the Saudi citizenship should contact the Japanese Embassy in their respective countries for more information.

It is not required for applicants to be fluent in Japanese to apply as the first 6 months will provide schooling of the language.

Students should also opt to choose a field of study relevant to their major.
