TOKYO: Japanese Foreign Minister MOTEGI Toshimitsu expressed deep concern on Tuesday over the clashes among civilians and rising tension in the Palestinian territories.
“We condemn the rocket attacks on civilians in Gaza,” Motegi said at a press conference in Tokyo.
Motegi made clear that the issues facing Israelis and Palestinians should not be resolved by violence.
“They can only be resolved by negotiations between the parties and through efforts to build confidence,” he said.
