Japan dispatches Special Envoy of the Prime Minister to UAE

TOKYO: The Japanese government decided to dispatch AMARI Akira, a member of the House of Representatives, as a Special Envoy of Prime Minister KISHIDA Fumio to visit the United Arab Emirates to offer Japan’s condolences on the passing of President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Amari is scheduled to leave Tokyo on May 15 to attend the official funeral ceremony in Abu Dhabi and extend condolences to dignitaries in the UAE on behalf of the government and the people of Japan.
