The Attorney of Carlos Ghosn, former chairman of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., told the Yomiuri Shimbun on Wednesday January 1, that a press conference was scheduled for him in Beirut on January 8.

This follows a statement released on December 31 by Ghosn in which he said, "I am now able to communicate freely with the media. I look forward to starting it next week."
