Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry: Iran situation causes concerns

"I am seriously concerned that the global oil supply is becoming increasingly uncertain due to the intensified conflict between the United States and Iran. I would like to pay close attention to the impact on Japan,” said Japan's Economy, Trade and Industry Minister Hiroshi Kajiyama 

Minister Kajiyama further explained that Japan has more than 200 days of reserves of crude oil, and emphasized that even if imports from the Middle East would cease, there would be no fear of immediate energy supply.
