TOKYO: Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, will pay an official working visit to Japan from Jan. 30 to 31, Japan’s Foreign Ministry announced on Friday.
During his stay in Japan, Sheikh Mohammed will hold the second round of the Japan-Qatar Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue with Foreign Minister HAYASHI Yoshimasa during which they will exchange views on bilateral relations and regional situations.
The visit of Sheikh Mohammed is seen as an opportunity to further develop the relationship between Japan and Qatar, the ministry said.
