RIYADH: Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman on Tuesday met South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol, in Seoul.

The Saudi minister conveyed the greetings of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and expressed their sincere wishes for South Korea’s continued progress and prosperity.

The two parties reviewed bilateral relations and cooperation in the military and defense field.

Later on, Prince Khalid met with Lee Jong-sup, South Korea’s minister of national defense.

They reviewed their countries’ historic relations and close cooperation as well as ways to strengthen their strategic defense partnership.

Prince Khalid and his accompanying delegation are in South Korea on an official visit, during which they will meet a number of officials to discuss relations between the two countries, and focus on issues of common interest at regional and international levels.
