Iwai Fumio, ambassador of Japan in Saudi Arabia, attended the unveiling ceremony of the new Toyota Crown in Diriyah on June 12.

The 2023 Toyota Crown was unveiled in Riyadh. “I found the new model to be comfortable and distinctive to drive. I would like to take this great opportunity to thank Saudi Arabian champions in motorsport, Yazeed AlRajhi (entrepreneur) and the hero Dania Akeel (biker). It was an honor to meet you,” said the ambassador.

The General Manager, Marketing Communications Executive Mounir Khoja said in his speech: “Toyota appeared in 1955 as the first public production car for Toyota, and it is the same year that Abdul Latif Jameel Motors witnessed its launch where our name was associated with the world of Toyota as an authorized distributor in the Kingdom.”

The 16th generation Toyota Crown is officially launched in Saudi Arabia after more than 20 years of support hiatus, and Toyota will announce the production of four different Toyota Crown models on July 15, 2022.
