DUBAI: Japanese video game company Bandai Namco has launched four projects in an attempt to bring Gundam to life.

The four projects are a sub-project of the company’s 2021 sustainability project, “Gundam Universal Century Development Action,” which aims to address population and environmental issues through researching technology.

The four projects are titled “TEAM SPACE LIFE Project,” “Prototyping of a new pilot robot for social implementation of mobile suits,” “Green Colony Project,” and the “Beam Saber Plasma Agriculture Project.”

The Japanese video game company is currently working with 13 partners, who are divided on the four projects.

“TEAM SPACE LIFE project” will be focused on creating livable areas and environments, a functional mobile suit, and agricultural usages for plasma, as well as researching space colonies and medical technologies for humans to survive in these spaces.

The “Green Colony Project” team will provide an experimental environment that analyzes the effects of gravity.

The “Prototyping of a new pilot robot for social implementation of mobile suits” team will focus on creating the fan-anticipated mobile suits that will be used to enrich people’s lives.

Furthermore, the “Beam Saber Plasma Agriculture Project” team will focus on studying plasma for agricultural purposes, which will be used to promote plant growth.
