The second annual Kuwait-Japan gathering was held in order to promote cultural exchange and understanding between the two nations.

The event brought together a delegation of students, artists and diplomats from the Japanese Embassy in Kuwait.

Attendees gave speeches and presentations in both Arabic and Japanese, to demonstrate a commitment to fostering a deeper connection between the two communities.

Kuwaiti artist Tareq Qaddumi gave a presentation on merging Arab and Japanese cultures, provided valuable insights into the commonalities and differences between the two, creatively fusing subcultures between the countries.

This contributed to a better understanding among the participants.

Founder of the Kuwait-Japan International Gather Faisal Al-Salem was also present at the event.

Areej Al-Salem, a well-known Arabic artist, gave a Japanese presentation on “Shodo” (Japanese calligraphy), adding another artistic and cultural dimensions to the event.

The event provided a platform for students and representatives from both Kuwait and Japan to showcase their language skills, share their cultural experiences, and appreciate each other’s traditions.
