A world premier screening of the first episode of the Grendizer U anime series was held in Saudi Arabia in collaboration with the Middle East’s VOX Cinemas and Manga Productions.

The debut of the revival of the anime show was held in the presence of Grendizer’s Japanese screenwriter Ichiro Okochi.

The series will be available to everyone in Saudi Arabia, the Middle East and North Africa region. 

Dr. Essam Bukhary, CEO of Manga Productions, said in a post on X on Friday that Grendizer U will be distributed in the Arab world “at the same time as it is broadcast in Japan.”

“Manga Productions will continue to deliver Japanese content to the world in the best possible way, while also continuing to produce original Saudi Arabian anime,” he added.

Bukhary also said Manga Productions was honored to also have “worked hand in hand with Japanese partner companies to revive the Grendizer series and contribute to the success of this project through overseas marketing and distribution.”

On July 2, MBC’s Shahid, the world’s leading Arabic streaming platform, announced that the remake of the original “Grendizer” anime series is set to debut on the platform as well.
