DUBAI: Cosplay Brunch, an exciting and engaging community event that was organized for all geeks in mind, was held on July 6 at Dubai’s Rove Downtown hotel. Organized by Hobby Nation, the event featured exciting activities for cosplayers and anime fans.

“The event was a delightful blend of delicious food and a showcase of some of the most impressive cosplays we’ve ever seen. From anime heroes to iconic movie characters, the array of costumes on display was simply breathtaking. Participants put in a tremendous amount of effort and creativity into their outfits, making it a feast for the eye,” said Faisal Al Qassim, founder of Hobby Nation. 

“One of the highlights of the event was the exciting prize distribution ceremony, where we had the pleasure of awarding some very deserving cosplayers with gifts provided by our generous sponsors: Rove, Comicave, and The Little Things. The anticipation and excitement were palpable as each winner was announced, and it was heartwarming to see the joy and pride on their faces as they accepted their prizes,” he added.

The event initially planned to host 80 people, but they welcomed 115 guests. “The atmosphere was lively and full of laughter, as attendees enjoyed the delicious spread provided by Rove and engaged in lively discussions about their favorite characters and cosplay experiences,” Al Qassim said. 

“As we look back on this amazing day, we’re filled with pride and gratitude for the wonderful community we have built together. We’re already looking forward to our next event and can’t wait to see what incredible cosplays our talented members come up with next,” he added.
