The latest figure of One Piece franchise (Red Hair Shanks) from the Luxembourg-based company Tusme Art has been revealed in the Little Things booth at MEFCC 2020.

Limited to 1800 pieces worldwide, the latest figure shows a scene from the One Piece series featuring  Red-Haired Shanks, the captain of the ‘Red Hair Pirates’, which is the first pirate crew to appear in the manga and second to appear (next to the Alvida Pirates) in the anime genre.

The unprecedented occurrence of the MEFCC occurring amidst the coronavirus situation has not affected sales nor people’s interests in the One Piece brand, explains Tsume Art’s Founder Cyril Marchiol.

“We have released Shanks from One Piece license and we sold it out in very short time (approximately 28 hours) which is a very big success for us, considering the situation now with coronavirus worldwide as we though that it might effect our sales, but the strong popularity seven demand for One Piece brand made the sale very quickly and we got positive feedback about the statue here at MEFCC 2020 from many fans of the series,” Marchiol said.

“We saw that the attendance this year is less than last year obviously because of the coronavirus situation, but we saw good amount of people who came to see our products & I feel that this market is growing a lot & people here are very interested in Japanese anime franchises including Kametsu No Yaiba (Demon Slayer) which recently become one of the most popular series around the world which gives us the passion to do more for the Middle East region,” Marchiol added.

 “We are truly ecstatic about this reveal in specific, because although we were aware of what the statue would be, we were not given any information or allowed to sneak a peek at its formation, until the day begore MEFCC. This filled the members with anticipation of the statute’s appearance and made it’s revelation to the public particularly exciting. In a span of a few hours, the 1,800 pieces of the Shanks HQS by Tsume got sold out! We are proud to be a part of such successes. Another exclusive revelation at the MEFCC, was that of the first Tsumewave Dubai Exclusive Grendizer. It was the first of its kind and a first for Tsume. Collectively, we are proud of these achievement as well as the partnership we have with Tsume. As of today, the Tsume wave Dubai Exclusive Grendizer, that is limited to 100 pieces (worldwide) is sold out!” Hasan Al Tamimi, executive director of the Little Things said.

“Our participation towards this year’s MEFCC was splendid, we had a ton of work that was both, tireless and fun, we created new activities for the to participate in, such as the spin wheel and pachinko game, and we also got the Tsume team with us, making the entire event enjoyable for the members as well as  the loyal customers, who were in awe of the merchandise showcased, such as the introduction of the Little Things merchandise. Overall, the event provided new fellow geeks a place to fully nerd out on,” Tamimi added.
