Bandai Namco’s MENA social media and event manager Rashed Mokdad exclusively told Arab News Japan about their participation at the event: “We were really happy to be back to conventions in general because we have missed the physical interaction with the gaming community due to the Covid -19 pandemic, which we had to do a lot of things online in the past two years.”

“But we were able to finally come back this year at MEFCC 2022 in Abu Dhabi with a bang where we recently launched Elden Ring, which is one of the biggest titles that we have released for this year and got a lot of praise as well huge positive feedback from the gaming community around the world and we were happy that we showcased the game at the event,” he added.

About the main titles of Bandai Namco that were featured at their booth in MEFCC 2022, Mokdad said: “We have showcased major titles at this year’s edition of MEFCC besides Elden Ring such as Tales of Arise, which won the award for Best RPG at The Game Awards 2021 and Scarlet Nexus, which is a new IP that has a very interesting Cyberpunk 2077 look and anime theme into it and Little Nightmares II, which was widely considered as one of the best horror games last year and being liked by many gaming streamers and influencers who liked to scream at the camera.”

“Finally, we have featured two fighting games at the event where the first was Guilty Gear Strive, the latest entry of Guilty Gear franchise that was developed by Arc System Works who also worked on Dragon Ball FighterZ game which is another critically acclaimed fighting game and Tekken 7, which is a classic game that people since 2017 are still playing it to this day and we are really happy to see that,” he added.

About the feedback of the visitors at Bandai Namco’s booth at this year’s edition of MEFCC, Mokdad said: “We got very positive feedback as we have featured a life-sized statue for Malenia, Blade of Miquella which is one of the main bosses in Elden Ring game where people were taking pictures of the statue and visitors overall loved our booth where they came to play the games and having good time where it shows the value of our brand and our titles variety to the fans”.
