DUBAI: AnimeKey is a new anime online streaming service for the Middle East region that features anime content in Japanese, English and Arabic languages.

Exclusively to Arab News Japan, a representative of Anime Key said  the main concept of the platform is as it sounds: ‘The key to anime.’

“AnimeKey is an exclusive platform where users can watch anime series and movies. We operate in the entire MENA region. Aiming to become the best Anime platform by providing high quality content, exclusive shows and features.

AnimeKey has three main plans; the first is the Basic Key, which includes one User Account, one Sub Account, High Quality Videos and Ads-Free, the second is Key Plus, which includes one User Account, two Sub Accounts, Offline Download ‘Mobile App’, High Quality Videos and Ads-Free. The third, Master Key, includes one User Account, three Sub Accounts, one Month Free Subscription, Offline Download ‘Mobile App’, High Quality Videos, Ads-Free, Complimentary Gift Box, Cut and Share Feature ‘Mobile App’ and VIP Library.

The representative said the platform launched its beta version in February and attracted more than 1,500 users.

“As we are still in the BETA version, we will be implementing a lot of changes and additions which came through direct feedback from the platform users and we aim to be continuously running updates to enhance the platform’s performance,” they said.

About distinguishing AnimeKey from other online streaming services in the Middle East region, the representative said: “We offer a platform exclusively for streaming Anime content in Japanese, Arabic, and English languages (no drama or live action), with a more focused selection in which our main mission is helping the Anime industry. A lot of features will be added to the platform bringing a very diverse and satisfying streaming experience.”

The representative said expanding the anime library is one of the key focuses of the platform.

They added: “The Master Key annual plan is the way to go, joining us during our first year with the annual master key subscription will provide you with exclusive gifts, the AnimeKey MYSTERY BOX, and status with the AnimeKey platform.”
