RIYADH: Tourism and cultural ties are set to flourish as Saudi aviation officials embark on a global mission exploring opportunities in Singapore, China, and the US.

A high-level delegation, headed by Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, president of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, has initiated official visits to these countries to pursue avenues for cooperation in connectivity, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

The 10-day tour, set to conclude on Feb. 29, is integral to Saudi Arabia’s efforts to strengthen the contribution of the air transport sector to the national economy and attract global investors.

It provides an opportunity to evaluate high-value investment prospects in civil aviation and highlight the Kingdom’s initiatives for advancing the sector, according to SPA.

Ultimately, this aims to enhance travel options, boost tourism, and foster cultural and commercial exchange between the countries.
