TOKYO: Mazda Motor Corp. said Friday it will suspend two plants in Japan on Monday and Tuesday as cold weather in North America is disrupting parts supplies.
Mazda did not disclose how much its vehicle output will be affected by the suspension at the headquarters plant in Hiroshima Prefecture, western Japan, and the plant in Hofu, in neighboring Yamaguchi Prefecture.
The Japanese automaker said it has yet to decide on its operations from Wednesday.
