Krispy Kreme Japan turns Universal Pictures’ popular creatures, the Minions, from the “Despicable Me” series into edible treats.

The latest range of donuts, available beginning March until May, will feature minion Bob, and his stuffed bear Tim made using flavours like banana—representative of the film’s infamous “Banana Song”—as well as chocolate, and caramel.

The prices of the donuts differ, with a box of a dozen donuts costing ¥2,160 JPY ($20.50 USD), whereas individual donuts will be priced at ¥378 JPY ($3.60 USD).

Krispy Kreme’s dozen box will not only feature the “Despicable Me” characters, but also a selection of other unique flavours including Original Glazed, chocolate, and Pudding Chocolate Sprinkles.

Both the Bob and Tim donuts have been designed to resemble the animated characters, with the Minion’s goggles, mouth and eyes being added to the donut.

For Tim, coffee flavoured chocolate is used for the nose, milk chocolate for his ears and strawberry chocolate for the bear’s tongue.

Aside from Krispy Kreme’s donuts, they have also released a special frozen banana drink sold for ¥637 JPY ($6 USD), and made using banana, vanilla, cream and chocolate sauce, served in a Minion themed cup.
