DUBAI: The Embassy of Japan in Syria condemned the drone attack which killed over 110 people in the city of Homs on Thursday.

In a statement on X, formerly known as Twitter, the embassy said that attacks against innocent civilians were “unacceptable.”

The embassy also offered their condolences to the wounded in the attacks and their bereaved families.

“We are also concerned by reports of  escalating shelling and rocket fire into Idlib in the aftermath of the attack in Homs,” they added.

The embassy called on all sides to exercise restraint to avoid further escalation and deterioration of the humanitarian crisis.
