TOKYO: The General Association of Korean Residents in Japan, known as Chongryon, issued a “Korea File” report on Saturday describing the “collapse” of the world’s established powers and American influence around the world.

“This year, the global trend of the collapse of the US hegemony, autonomy and multi-polarization is becoming more and more prominent,” the report stated. “In Eurasia, the defeat of NATO in western Ukraine is only a matter of time; in the Middle East, the United States and Israel are globally isolated over Palestine; and on the Korean Peninsula, Korea’s nuclear deterrence has been dramatically strengthened.”

The report predicts a new world order, noting greater military and economic cooperation between North Korea, Russia, Iran and China, and the emergence of the BRICS nations and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

“While the collective West is in an existential crisis, Russia, Iran and China are devising their own security order to protect the world from genocide,” the report says. “The US has no idea what lies ahead of its exceptionalist mindset. Last week, Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Chinese President Xi Jinping greeted US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken as if he were nothing more than an annoying fly when he visited Beijing with a list of delusional US demands.”

“There is already serious political business going on outside of the corrupt UN system. China is openly questioning America’s prevention of the establishment of a Palestinian state by the United States and Israel.” It suggests that China is making its own moves to help Palestine.

The report also mocks Japanese Prime Minister KISHIDA Fumio’s attempts to ingratiate himself with US President Joe Biden by declaring the US as Japan’s “closest friend” and Japan as a dedicated military partner of the United States.

“This means that the Japan-US alliance to protect Japan has been transformed into a military alliance to protect the US hegemony order,” the Korea File report said. “The US military has recently moved away from fighting forces in the Middle East and is preparing for a major war in the Pacific.”
