On Nov. 19, Japan’s Ambassador to the UAE Akihiko Nakajima was presented the Order of Independence, First Class by President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Ambassador Nakajima was presented the Order by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation while at Expo 2020 Dubai.

Ambassador Nakajima expressed gratitude to the UAE government for their continuous support towards enhancing the relationship between the UAE and Japan. He also expressed thanks to Sheikh Khalifa for his notable role.

UAE’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation also applauded Ambassador Nakajima for his efforts to improve bilateral relations.
