Japan’s Defense Minister Nobuo Kishi held a video conference with Ukraine’s Minister of Defense Oleksii Reznikov for the second time since March on Wednesday.
Reznikov expressed his deep gratitude for provision of humanitarian aid and equipment from Japan to Ukraine.

Kishi said Russia “must be held strictly accountable” given the recent mass killings of innocent civilians near Kyiv.
Last month, Japan shipped helmets and other non-lethal military kit to Ukraine via a US Air Force cargo jet.
