RIYADH: Japanese Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Iwai Fumio and his delegation recently visited the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Qur’an in Madinah, Saudi Press Agency reported on Thursday.

The ambassador was welcomed by Atef bin Ibrahim Al-Olayan, the complex’s secretary-general.

The ambassador was presented with a documentary film that showcased the institution’s significant achievements in printing the Holy Qur’an, including its scientific publications and translated editions, since its establishment in 1984.

The visit featured a tour of the main printing facility, where the ambassador and his delegation were introduced to the various departments within the complex.

They received detailed explanations about the operation mechanisms of the printing machines and the production process of the Qur’an, which uses the highest quality raw materials available within the complex.
