Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior announced on Saturday a number of executions, among them Daesh and Al-Qaeda members, state news agency (SPA) reported.
The ministry said the death sentence was also handed down to several others who were convicted of conspiring with “terrorist groups” who carry out “hostile” attacks against the kingdom. This included Yemenis who formed a terrorist group affiliated with the Houthi militia.
Convicted criminals, among them Saudi nationals, who formed terrorist cells on orders from abroad, were also executed.
The ministry said the death sentence was also carried out on those convicted of crimes such as murder and rape.
