ABU DHABI: The Middle East Film & Comic Con (MEFCC) has recently announced another legendary voice actor, along with Show Hayami, joining its star-studded lineup as Toru Furuya makes his way to the highly anticipated 3-day festival on Feb. 9-11 in Abu Dhabi.

Furuya has been voice acting for over 50 years; since then, he has already voiced characters in over 100 anime and movies. He is known for voicing popular characters like Sabo (One Piece), Pegasus Seiya (Saint Seiya), Tuxedo Mask (Sailor Moon), Yamcha (Dragon Ball Z), and Amuro Ray (Gundam).

A representative of The Little Things, a leading collectible shop in the UAE, spoke exclusively to Arab News Japan about Furuya’s attendance, saying, “The Little Things is just as excited as all the fans for this announcement, and with that in mind, we will be sure to bring collectibles of popular characters that Furuya voiced from many anime series.”

Fans have the opportunity to meet the legendary voice actor and have their collectibles signed by the legend himself.

MEFCC has become a premier destination for fans of comics, movies, TV shows, anime, and gaming in the region. The annual event draws together a diverse community of enthusiasts, creators, and industry professionals. It will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, and tickets are now on sale.
