Japanese vocal group GRe4N Boyz will perform on the first day. Formerly known as Greeeen, the group debuted in 2007 and gained popularity after releasing their single ‘Kiseki’ in 2009, which sold half a million copies.
The group’s characters were designed by One Piece’s creator, Eiichiro Oda, during their 2023 arena tour.
During the first day, virtual YouTuber and singer Mori Calliope will perform as well. The singer, who debuted in 2020, released a song dedicated to volume 106 of One Piece in 2023 titled ‘Future Island’.
Furthermore, Ado and BE:FIRST will perform on the second day of the festival.
After debuting in 2020 with ‘Usseewa’, Ado became one of the biggest artists in Japan as the song topped Billboard Japan and Japan’s Oricon Digital Singles Chart.
In 2022, she voiced the singing voice for the character Uta in the movie ‘One Piece Film: Red’. She also performed the film’s theme song, ‘New Genesis,’ which won song of the year at the 2022 MTV Japan’s Video Music Awards.
Moreover, BE:FIRST is a seven-member Japanese boy group that made a song for the One Piece card game in Feb. titled ‘Set Sail’. The group debuted in 2021 and has performed on various Japanese television channels, such as NHK.
On both days, Maki Otsuki and Hiroshi Kitadani will take the stage to perform their iconic One Piece songs. Otsuki and Kitadani have created various songs for the anime for decades.
In 1999, Kitadani released One Piece’s opening theme, ‘We Are!’, which gained global recognition. In 2000, Otsuki released the first One Piece ending song, ‘memories”.
Additionally, the event will also hold an exhibition area where many voice actors are expected to make an appearance. The exhibition area can be streamed for free on One Piece’s YouTube channel.
